How to Get a Referral
If your pet is requiring a Cone Beam CT scan, you can make an appointment with your veterinarian and have them submit a referral. Once we receive the referral we will reach out to the client to set up an appointment with one of our veterinarians.
Cone Beam vs. Regular CT
Where a regular CT scans primarily the whole body, a Cone Beam CT focuses directly on a patient’s skull. Cone Beam CT gives a full 3D image of the skull and is used to aid in the diagnosis of ear and eye issues, TMJ, nasal disorders, skull and facial fractures and some neoplasia.
How to Prepare for your Appointment
We encourage referrals to have all of their pet’s necessary lab work and diagnostics done prior to the date of your appointment. This way, we can have an idea of your pet’s anesthetic tolerance and can book procedures accordingly.
